Description

Join us for a Spanish literary showcase, in celebration of Don Quixote author Miguel de Cervantes, who is widely regarded as one of the best Spanish writers of all time. Watch some of the top local and international Spanish-language writers present their original poetic works in a live televised contest. The showcase, hosted by local Denver poet and author Juan Patraca, will feature live music, dance and refreshments.

Note: This event is for adults and will be presented in Spanish, with limited English translation. We've teamed up with Tardes Bohemias Colorado, a local writers association, to bring this showcase to the community!

All are welcome to attend the closing ceremony, which will take place the following day, Saturday, July 29 at La Academia Inner Parish High School, 910 Galapago St., Denver.
