Join us for this virtual presentation from Jason Reynolds, the National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature. He will discuss the importance of empowering young people through literacy, a necessary tool for building empathy and fighting systematic racism. Reynolds’ books include the bestselling nonfiction Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You: A Remix of the National Book Award-winning Stamped from the Beginning. A Q & A will follow the presentation. Books may be purchased from BookBar. Geared toward adults, and teens are welcome to attend.
