Slam Poetry Workshop: Sky's the Limit

4:00 PM – 5:30 PM

Express yourself! This month we'll explore our hopes and dreams through slam poetry. We'll watch slam poems to get inspired and then create our own! No experience necessary. Beginners welcome. Sharing at the end of class is optional. Come play with words in a kind inclusive environment with others!

This series is taught by Elissa Dickson who was the 3-time winner of the Western Slope Slam Poetry Annual Grand Slam and served as the San Miguel County Poet Laureate from 2016-2019. She believes writing creatively is vital food for the soul at any age.
