So You Think You Can Write a Novel?

So many of us have thought we have the idea for the next blockbuster novel. Is it time to sit down and begin writing? Before your fingers reach for the keyboard, this workshop will discuss some things about writing to consider as you begin. We’ll share some tips on where to find help and encouragement along the way and give you some understanding of literary agents, independent publishing and the traditional route. Taught by local author Kevin Wolf, whose debut novel, The Homeplace was the winner of the 2015 Tony Hillerman Award. His short story, BELTHANGER selected by Western Writers of America as the 2021 Spur Award Winner for Best Short fiction. The great-grandson of Colorado homesteaders, he enjoys fly fishing, old Winchesters, and 1950's Western movies.
