Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians, is the New York Times bestselling author of Firekeeper's Daughter, a young adult thriller about a Native teen who must root out the corruption in her community. The author will talk about her debut novel, her road to writing this book and the importance of Native people telling their own stories. Books can be purchased from BookBar and will include a signed bookplate, while supplies last. For teens and adults.
