Film Screening and Community Conversation: The Five States of Colorado

2:00 PM – 4:15 PM

Join us for a film screening and community conversation. The film The Five States of Colorado is designed for audiences from elementary school age to adults. This 90-minute film addresses the history and issues within the five regions or “states” to inform, educate and serve as a basis for community discussion. The film is an accessible and engaging exploration and illustration of the history, culture, present-day facts and perspectives, concerns and needs of each of the five regions and a powerful contribution to public education and discourse.

Join us to learn about Colorado's changing culture, demographics and people. This film is produced and brought to you by Colorado Humanities and Denver-based HaveyPro Cinema.

Dr. William Philpott, who is featured in the film, will facilitate a conversation and Q&A session after the film screening. You won't want to miss it!

Seating opens 30 minutes before the film starts. Community conversation following the film. Light snacks will be served.

In partnership with Colorado Humanities.
