Could You Survive ALONE or AWAY?

2:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Description

Join author Megan E. Freeman as she explores the ideas that inspired the adventure survival novels, ALONE and AWAY, and challenges readers to think about how they might respond to some of the situations the characters face in the stories. Read and discuss along with the author as you imagine what you would do if you found yourself completely alone or far from home. Also, learn differences and similarities between novels in verse, novels in prose, and hybrid novels.
