Cultivating a Love of Literacy in School Age Children

Description

Join us for an evening with author and educator Dr. JaNay Brown-Wood. The session will be filled with ideas to support and empower parents and caregivers in nurturing reluctant readers and preparing for a successful school year. Dr. Brown-Wood will share factors that contribute to reading reluctance and provide strategies to foster a love of reading and the foundational skills necessary to develop strong readers. Children are welcome to attend this event with their parents and caregivers. Please register all children and adults attending the event.

Receive a free copy of one of Dr. Brown-Wood’s books while supplies last. A book signing will follow the event. Books will be available for purchase from The Bookies Bookstore. Spanish and Russian translation will be provided.
