Teen Advocacy Group: Youth Celebrate Diversity Smoky Hill

5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Smoky Hill Library

Description

Are you a high school student interested in making your voice heard? Join our Teen Advocacy Group (TAG) as we build a newly developed Youth Celebrate Diversity chapter, a youth-led group dedicated to leadership and activist opportunities. Learn how to use your voice and skills to advocate for inclusion and social justice!

Being a member of our TAG is a great way to:

  • Develop skills and training in community organizing, community building, facilitation, and leadership
  • Create safe and brave spaces for yourself and your peers

All TAG members will earn volunteer credit for their work with TAG.

Arapahoe Libraries has two Youth Celebrate Diversity chapters. This TAG group will meet at the Smoky Hill Library.

Our Arapahoe Libraries chapters of YCD will be focused on high school students in grades 9-12, ages 14-18. To learn more about Youth Celebrate Diversity, visit their website: https://ycdiversity.org/
