Read, Build, Create! (Ages 5-8)

4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Eloise May Library

Description

Join us for Read, Build, Create! — a fun, hands-on program designed to spark kids’ imaginations through stories, building, and crafts!

Each session begins with a lively read-aloud of a picture book that brings the story to life with expression and excitement. After the story, kids can head to two creative stations:

Building Challenge – Build something inspired by the story using your imagination and problem-solving skills.

Craft Time – Create a themed art project that strengthens fine motor skills and lets kids take home a piece of the story.

From pirate ships to magical animals, each month brings a new theme to explore. Whether you love listening to stories, building with Lego bricks, or making art, this program has something for everyone

This program is designed for kids (ages 5-8) based on the skills we'll be practicing or the tools used. Offering age-appropriate programming allows us to craft memorable and personalized experiences for all our patrons, no matter their age.
