The Tribes of Ethiopia’s Omo Valley

2:00 PM – 3:30 PM
Smoky Hill Library

Description

Join international photographer and Denver native Nancy Savage for an intimate look at Ethiopia’s Omo Valley, one of the most culturally rich yet remote regions on earth.

The immersive presentation will feature a striking collection of photographs accompanied by personal stories from time spent visiting tribal villages with centuries-old traditions. Few people ever visit these communities where ancestral identity continues to thrive despite the modern world.

For over two decades, Nancy has traveled the globe documenting Indigenous cultures and the stories that define them.
