Another wonderful movie by Robert Redford (actor/director/producer).
Has he ever done a bad movie?

Checked this DVD out on wife's request. I was skeptical, and apprehensive about the length. However was bowled over by the depth of emotion portrayed in understated fashion. I did not know Scarlett Johansson was a child actress - what a performance!

Waaaayyyyy toooooo looong.

This wannabee-movie was a career killer for Redford. I would rather take a bath in someone's-else vomit than watch this kind of garbage.

A movie the entire family will love. Robert Redford directs and stars as the horse whisperer. I can tell you that children will be captivated by the story of an injured child and the injured horse was riding. A remarkable movie with a great cast, especially Kristin Scott Thomas playing the injured child Grace MacLean. A five star winner for those of us who like stories about animals and humans.

One of the few most beautifully made among the more than 2000 movies I have watched! I just couldnot help but watching it again and, probably, again.

Very good movie. I just wish they focused more on the horse training part, instead of the whole romance thing. in my opinion the movie would have been better had they left that out, or at least made the woman divorced and fall in love with the whisperer guy. it really distracted from the good parts, which were actually about the horse and girl. I loved it anyway though. very well done!
