I thoroughly enjoyed the historical footage and the commentary provided by the elderly courtiers who had a front row seat to the monarchical history of the 20th century and by the royal biographers. What I found most enlightening was the information about how and why 'Windsor' was chosen as the family name - in an effort to distance themselves from their German heritage during World War I. Through changing times which saw the demise of monarchies throughout the world, the "royal machine" of the United Kingdom has seemingly managed to keep the British monarchy in the favor of a majority of their subjects. No small feat!
Good historical footage and interviews. The soundtrack kind of ruins it, since they only wrote one song for it. So it gets tough to listen to the same song for 4 hours.
