This 1978 mini-series stars Robert Conrad and Richard Chamberlain and was filmed in Greeley and Central City but not in Centennial, Colorado, where Koelbel Library (part of the Arapahoe Libraries) is located.

I remember watching this mini-series back in the 1970's, and didn't live in Colorado at the time but now I do! I've come full circle! This mini-series based on James Michener's novel is also a great history lesson for older kids regarding Colorado.
