Physicists Leonard and Sheldon understand everything from the inescapable gravitational pull of a black hole to the intricate structure of the atom. But take those atoms and assemble them into a woman, and their comprehension comes to a grinding halt. And when Penny, a woman with all those atoms in all the right places, moves in across the hall, Leonard and Sheldon's universe begins to expand in ways they never could have imagined.

I really enjoyed watching this series with Sheldon Cooper and the rest of the bunches of actors. Hilarious , well written and innovative with science, gadgets end fun to watch.

Hilarious. I missed this show for years because of schedule conflicts. Now I'm starting a binge watch from season 1!

I love this show. If you are wondering if you should give it a try, you should. There is a little it of socialineptness and nerd I'm in all of us and this show speaks to it.

Finally got around to watching this show for the first time. Very entertaining. Perfect when you want to just sit back and enjoy some laughs!

Great entertainment for intellectuals who enjoy a chuckle at life's absurdities. I believe Shakespeare would give an appreciative nod to much of the wit and character development. If anyone is straddling the fence on whether to try it, I encourage you to take the leap. The only drawback is the tediously exaggerated laugh track.

It's extremely hard to believe this is made by the same guys responsible for Two and a Half Men. First of all, the show never relies on crassness as Two and a Half Men and so many shows do these days. Since it doesn't lean on shock humor, the writers actually have to try to come up with smart, witty jokes and they've succeeded for far longer than I ever thought any show could.

Anyone who thinks this is a one-joke show about "nerds" has obviously never seen the show. The "nerds" may sure mutual interests, but so do the guys in every other show (usually sports). Each of the characters here are fleshed out with their own idiosyncracies and distinct personalities. They're all extremely relatable and actually less broadly written then some of the male characters on other sitcoms (like the horndog, the dumb guy, etc). The show clearly has an affection for all of these characters and its telling that either the producer or the creator have always kept one of their hands in the writing of every episode. They obviously love these characters (unlike Jon Cryer's character on Two and Half Men, who seems to be only an object of ridicule).

I've seen 3 random re-run episodes.
I got all the nerd references and knew what the punchlines were, but I never laughed even once.

This is one of the funniest TV shows I have seen so far. Although there were great ones before and now, but this one really tells how you need your social life aside from school, otherwise.... Goodluck! ;)
