This album is either a step up or a step down for Avril, depending on your stance on the pop music genre. Avril leaves her unapologetically emotional and rebellious punk sound for a more upbeat pop-rock anthems. If you adored her first two albums, this one may not be something you enjoy, unless you go into it with an open mind. There are some beautiful songs on this album that have the essence of her roots such as Innocence and Runaway. But you hear Avril take a step into pop music in songs like her hit from this album called Girlfriend. This album has a more mainstream sound, and if that’s your cup of tea, go for it, but if you loved old Avril, then it may be best to leave this album alone. But overall, I think it's worth a listen if you're a fan of hers. 3/5 stars

Avril's recent album is beyond horrible. I used to love listening to her music but she changed so much and her music became so sugery.
