I was so engrossed in the book every time I picked it up. It was so well written that I could even imagine all the scenes in my own way and place myself right there watching it play out.

I really did not like this book. The author basically deceived me as a reader because I thought one thing about the main character and then BAM turns out she was totally different. Like from one minute to the next you are reading about a whole different person and I tried really hard to understand the character dynamics with the new revelations and I just ended up angry and confused. I just couldn’t finish reading after that because it’s one thing to lead on the reader and let them know they don’t have the whole story, while revealing it over time, and another to make them think they know everything and just drop a bombshell on them that makes no sense considering the way the first 1/3 of the book was written.

I picked this book based on the reviews and ignoring the the NO, NO, Captain. OMG! I read 43 pages of total BOREDOM hence I have returned this book and deleted all other books from the author. Reading this far was a chore for me as I disliked both characters in the story nor did I like the writing style. O do like Vampire stories and should have realized that that bandwagon has left the barn quite a few years ago. My reading is exciting characters, great plot, great writing, humor and rollercoaster of laughter and OH! NO, NO, Captain. Currently I am reading Carol Berg and her books are hard to put down.

I really liked this book and found it to be a solid read. I read the entire series in a week while enjoying the excitement between Bianca, Balthazaar and Lucas.

Gag me with a stick. Although the writing was alright, the plot was boring boring boring and v. predictable. She's the vampire, he's the human and involved with the vampire hunting group. Oh Romeo, Romeo, whereforartthou Romeo?

Thrilling and unexpected! I loved the surprises in this book! The pacing was great, though there were times I wondered if I'd missed a page somewhere.

For the first couple of chapters i was really into the book then BAM! all of a sudden she knew she was a vampire from the very beginning and then the whole story changes. I'm still trying to get thru this book because i hate stopping halfway thru but its become very hard all of a sudden to finish this book.
