this book was so good, a fast read, really interesting and realistic. I loved it. seriously don't know what book the other person read that commented on this (lol) , who cares about the language? it is the content that counts. I thought the author did a great job of making you feel bad for all parties involved. no matter the outcome. actually very sad overall.

A horrendous book. Written (mainly) from the point of view of the 4 main characters, none with a distinctive voice. The first third of the book I was flabbergasted that the author would even try to pass off these characters as professionals. The language is simply too simplistic to be used by a doctor or an archeologist. Part way through the book, suddenly the sentences are strung together a little more artfully but some of the metaphors are so ridiculous, I was embarrassed for the author. A real waste of time.
