A mystery story set in a small town in modern day Scotland. The audio reader does an excellent job. The story is sort of organized like the TV mystery Columbo, where you pretty much know who did it early on, and the actual mystery as far as the reader is concerned is how the detective will finally figure it out himself. Some aspects of the plot are a little over the top, and especially the critical event that allows the detective to solve the case is pretty hard to believe that would ever happen. But if you are able to suspend disbelief a little, worth a listen.
