I had previously enjoyed Connelly's books but I put this one down after Chapter 6 - I found that I was horrified at Connelly's description of a panic attack, I was annoyed with the poor editing (repetitive phrases) and, I KNOW this is unfair and intolerant, I was impatient with the protagonist's dwelling on his emotional trauma. I freely admit that this sounds like I'm a monster, but maybe this is just the wrong time in my life to read this.
One of Aaron Elkins' best thrillers yet--interesting subject matter that it seems the author is very familiar with.
Good for the most part but author wraps it up rather abruptly in the end.
