Holly and the gang are back after a four-year break, and I’m pleasantly surprised how well-written this entry is. Some authors tend to stumble after coming back to a series, but not Conant. A little right-wing on how absolutely fantastically undoubtedly inarguably (etc., etc.,) wonderful dogs are, but not nearly as off-putting as previous books.
