This is is awful ! ...when I got this NYPL disc home and put this movie in the DVD player...it says: NOT FORMATTED FOR THIS REGION !!?? ( And it says "Region #1", on the DVD jacket !!?) I have watched a thousand other New York Public Library DVDs on my Panasonic Region 1 DVD Player,.. but this one makes it almost TWO DOZEN that have come up as NOT FORMATTED etc. !

I really wanted to see this one. And I had to wait for it.

WHY is the New York Public Library buying DVD's that are NOT FORMATTED to be viewed in this region ?

Has this happened to anyone else out there ??

Full of plot holes, non sequiters, and cliches. Somewhat entertaining but absolutely skippable.

This wasn't the worst movie I've ever seen, it is far from being good. I fast forwarded a lot but not all the way. Just another shootem up bangem up move. Very predictable.

This was a mildly entertaining horror/adventure/detective/supernatural movie. Yeah. All that. I've never read the comic, so I had no frame of reference but it was still pretty fun. Looked good. Decent effects and sometimes funny dialogue. Inspired me to at least check out the comic. Seemed pressed for time, like they were trying to cram too much into one movie. I think it would do better as a tv series and I would likely watch it.

Definitely NOT for 13 year-olds. Brandon Routh's sculptural beauty and Sam Huntington's hillarious performance saved this movie from being an absolute disaster. The werewolves are pathetic and so are the vampires. Zombies are quite funny and unexpected. (OK, I don't like horror movies, but this one is actually a comedy-horror!) If Michelangelo was alive he would most likely elect Routh as model for David!

A movie that really doesn't aspire to be anything than a fun hour and half.
