Your Playlist Can Change Your Life ----- Galina Mindlin et all. ----- Let's just say I'm sceptical. And no, I never did get very far into the book.

A very readable book on how music can influence brain waves, neural connections, emotions, organization, alertness, and more...and how we can use it with 2012 technology (iPods,etc.). I really liked the write up on Beats Per Minute for selecting music for various purposes...I was looking for this info to help me set up a playlist at the right pace for walking. Check the contents tab on this library web page to get a better idea of material covered. Overall, this is a good intro book on the topic and it's geared for someone who loves music and wants a richer experience - who chooses to be mindFUL not mindLESS.
