I really enjoyed reading this. It adds a new dimesion to Steve Rogers' character. When he realize that it was much easier during WW2 because they told me to defeat the Nazis and he did but in this new day and age, it's all about politics. I really liked it and I had never cared for Bucky until I read this.

Outstanding volume by Brubaker splits its time between Steve Rogers, Bucky, the Black Widow, and Sharon Carter, as Bucky is imprisoned in Russia. Brubaker's take on the characters is just right, and he's backed up with a variety of artists. There are also a number of short pieces at the end, which were originally in the anniversary issue, from various creative teams to mark the character's anniversary.
