Pure entertainment for everyone. Songs include one of the Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything saying, “What’s a rooster and mashed potatoes have to do with being a pirate? …. And who’s ever kissed a chipmunk? It’s just nonsense! Why even bring it up?” and a gourd admitting he ‘don’t got a bellybutton.’ Funny short songs tell stories about a cucumber looking for his hairbrush and a manatee who wants to go to the ball who learns French. So many children love VeggieTales, the series has sold over 50 million DVDs, and it is fun for adults as well as children. See also "Me, Myself and Bob," a book by VeggieTales’ creator Phil Vischer about the VeggieTales dream he found—and lost, and his many other VeggieTales and What’s in the Bible? DVDs in the library system. The “If I Sang a Silly Song” DVD has choice of whether you want captions or not, a Sing-Along bonus feature, and Previews. See also , and

VeggieTales was created by Phil Vischer and is the top children’s direct-to-video DVD series in history. From the first DVD show, “Where is God When I’m S-Scared?” a favorite part of these shows is “the part when Larry sings a Silly Song.” For adults, too. See also Vischer’s others projects at and .
