Gus Lobel has been one of the best scouts in baseball for decades, but, despite his efforts to hide it, age is starting to catch up with him. Nevertheless, Gus-who can tell a pitch just by the crack of the bat-refuses to be benched for what may be the final innings of his career. The one person who might be able to help is also the one person Gus would never ask: his daughter, Mickie, an associate at a high-powered Atlanta law firm.

Gotta love a movie with Clint Eastwood. Amy did a fab job for her role too.

Loved "Trouble With The Curve"! Clint Eastwood as an elder baseball scout is heartwarming and humorous. Justin Timberlake plays a competing baseball scout wonderfully. If your a fan of Eastwood films, then don't miss "Trouble With The Curve"!

I was hesitant to give this a try. Glad I did - I thought it was a lot of fun; sweet story; great baseball mythology/plot; nice characters & acting.

Typical Clint Eastwood movie of late, where his character is overly tough, emotionally detached, and uncomfortable with aging. Still yet, despite its predictability (and implausibility toward the end), I thought this movie was somewhat charming and perfect for those who appreciate baseball.

Fell asleep halfway through. I like Clint Eastwood, but this was so slow - it was a disappointment.

I saw the movie and I had liked
it this is based on a true story
this is not for children to watch
but it would be for baseball players and coaches and umpires

Very good movie. Clint Eastwood is fantastic, as always.

Average movie, Clint Eastwood was great in his role, as was Amy Adams.
Justin Timberlake played a small role, as did John Goodman.
If you want to good, faster baseball movie, see Moneyball. Better pacing and better acting, imho.

Predictable and the romance seems a bit forced. I was a fan of Gran Torino, but Clint Eastwood seems cliched in this role. Since I saw it for free, I'm not complaining, but I would have been less happy if I paid for the Redbox, let alone the movie theater tickets
