Zane Malik is a young detective at the Major Crime Squad in Sydney, Australia. He's also a Muslim, in a post-9/11 world where such an identity automatically arouses suspicion and fear. He's a good husband and father and a dedicated cop with one main problem on the job: Detective Sergeant Ray Crowley. Crowley's an old school policeman for whom rules and regulations play a poor second to getting results.

I thought they were was an Aussie accent. Never heard anyone sounding like Ozzie Osbourne.

As others have said, this series really needs subtitles. Almost impossible to understand rapid-fire Ozzie dialogue.

Good series viz casting, plots, and Sydney locations. No English subtitles and/or SDH problematic. Have worked at times in Australia. Understand most Australian English and slang. However, still have difficulty following plots. Even more difficult w/Pacific Islander and other English, slang,..

This series is not presented in the English Language. The Dialogue is almost entirely in rapid-fire Ozzie vernacular without available English subtitles (the occasional Arabic dialogue is accompanied by English subtitles embedded in the video). If you aren't skilled in following Ozzie pronunciation and slang, you will certainly have significant difficulty keeping up with the plots. Strewth!
