Excellent book - very inspiring! In our part of the world, books and education are taken for granted, but this book reminds us that millions of children (especially girls) in the world do not have access to books, and therefore, lack access to education. It shows what one person can accomplish when he/she follows his/her dream. A must read!

Wow! Read this in a day and a half. Fascinating look at Room to Read duirng 2005 - 2010. (The founding of the organisation was in the book Leaving Microsoft to Change the World. However, this book can stand alone nicely. He plans one more Room to Read memoir).
This is a great introduction to another way of life -- hard driving to a solution to seemingly impossible problem. It is like reading about Paul Farmer, another visionary working hard to change the world. If you ever doubt that what you do makes a difference, this is one of those great books to read.
