This is a great book for any lady struggling with body image issues. It was very enlightening. I enjoyed it immensely.

This is a motivating, supportive book. I would recommend it to anyone struggling in this anti-fat/body hating/shaming culture.

This is a great book for someone who is tired of hearing all of the anti-fat and body shaming rhetoric that surrounds us. The author makes the book all encouraging the reader to do what they want to do with their bodies, even if that means not losing weight. There are tips, tricks, and tools to use against all kinds of people that would have you believe that weight loss is the only goal you should have, or that there are other things you should or should not be doing. In the end, I feel like I am just done with all the body hate and ready to move on with my gorgeous curvy body. No joke: this book has gotten me encouraged and empowered enough to finally take yoga because I am over this idea I had that only skinny people should be allowed to do it, can do it, and are allowed to wear yoga pants. I encourage all big girls to pick up this book. I hope that when you do, you feel as empowered as I do.

A very refreshing take on healthy living, with an emphasis on being body-positive as opposed to focusing too much on reaching a non-existent 'ideal' weight.

I highly recommend this book to everyone (girl or guy) who feels like exercise is only meant for the naturally athletic. Not true! Blank gives very straightforward advice on how to deal with negative body image, whether they are thoughts coming from within, or criticism from without. I especially would recommend this for younger folk who are particularly exposed to increasingly narrow definitions of what a healthy body 'should' look like. I definitely wish I had read this book when I was younger.
