Incredible step-by-step narrative of die-hard NAZI activities in Argentina just after WWII.

The plotting entails a bit of Texan bravado, often tongue-in-cheek, German and Argentine culture, military strategy and love stories.

Really interesting, and really enjoyable.

Too "talky" by far, though the voiceover actor does his best to try and keep things interesting. After 8 discs or so it feels like sitting through an uninspired PowerPoint presentation on the end of WWII and South America, minus the visuals.

2/3 of this novel is interesting and well written. As for the other third, it's so trite that I couldn't wait to get through it. This is no more than an average story for Mr. Griffin and is a bit of a letdown. 6 of 10 stars
