I am on my mom's account. My name is Katy and I am 12 years old. This is by far the best series I have read in my entire life and I have read 59 series so that is saying a lot! I recommend this book!

I don't know if they're present in all editions, but the 2013 paperback version of this book includes two related short stories, "Unstolen" and "The Memory Coder," as well as discussion questions, an interview with the author, and a sneak peek at Book #2 in the series, "Unforgotten." Once I started reading, I couldn't stop...and ended up reading the entire trilogy in practically a single sitting.

This was an exciting novel that got more complex towards the end. The concept of "transession" and Sera's "transession gene" intrigued me. I absolutely loved piecing her story together.

This is the first in a series--its a very unique dystopian title and one that I enjoyed very much. A sixteen year old girl is the only survivor of a plane crash and is found alive, floating in the wreckage. But, she has no memory at all--nothing; does not remember who she is or where she's from. When Zen starts to contact 'Sera,' he sparks memories of her previous life. Its a great plot twist involving two teens who just want to be together.

Things aren't always what they seem to be. For Violet, waking up in the wreckage of a plane crash and being told she was never on the plane is just the beginning of the strangeness. Not being able to remember anything and a strange boy who keeps popping up is the least of her worries. She must fight for love and her life and try to figure out exactly who she is and where she comes from. Excellent story, not at all what I expected to happen, kept you always guessing.
