I just finished listening to this book, and I would highly recommend it to anyone that wants to understand how something can go viral on the Internet.

Not one of my favorite subjects. However, I was curious about how ideas, products, or trends "catch on". It was interesting - boring at times.

Great read for professionals or business book clubs about how to make your product/idea/service catch on. If you liked this, check out Made to Stick: Why Some Ideas Survive and Others Die by Chip and Dan Heath and The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make a Big Difference by Malcom Gladwell.

I couldn't tolerate listening to the reader. It felt very "salesman-y". And he said things that I know aren't true. (My feelings about this may be due in part to a comparison I can't help making: I'm listening to a free online course at on a similar topic, and it is so honest and well-intentioned that other treatments come out poorly by comparison.)
