Great Series, love to look back at the way that life was different in the 1960's but a lot of it is the same as now. Great Story, Great Characters, Great Actors. Just read that Season 7 is in the making.

Season six of Mad Men takes place in the late '60s and includes actual television news coverage of the assassinations of Martin Luther King and Bobby Kennedy as well as the 1968 Democratic Convention riots in Chicago. With the background of the cultural changes taking place both Don Draper's and Peggy Olson's firms continue to impress their prestigious clients. On the personal front Don is having an affair with a neighbor and Peggy and her boyfriend buy a seedy new apartment on the west side of NYC. Eventually Don and rival executive Ted Chaough decide to merge their two firms which leads to many firings and plenty of chaos. Don's drinking escalates to the point that even he realizes that he needs to change. Overall season six is filled with intense drama, humor and sadness resulting in excellent entertainment.
