A combative relationship. A red-hot attraction. And no time to be alone together. Just when Chloe's career starts to take off, Bennett wishes it would all slow down long enough to spend a wild night alone with his intern-cum-girlfriend. Two plane tickets, one French villa, and a surprising conversation later, and they are wrestling under the covers, continuing their fiery love-hate relationship... and taking it to the next level.

It's a nice mini read, but I wouldn't have regretted if I did not read it.

This book is so much better then the first (in the beautiful series). I'm very impressed with Christina and Lauren. Their writing has improved.

You get Bennett's perspective more in this than in the previous book, though Chloe does have her say. More of a reminiscent type of book, there are a lot of flashbacks going on. Quick novella that picks up several months after Beautiful Bastard left off, just before the beginning of Beautiful Stranger. So if you want to read them in chronological order, there you go.

I can't get enough of Bennett and Chloe! It's short, but sweet. The story fills in some blanks from Beautiful Bastard.
