Very interesting. I've never been much of a Prince Charles fan, but this film allowed me to see another side of him. It was good to see how he works to promote the arts in the UK, rather than fighting to strip the tax dollars away from artistic education as we've become accustomed to see many of our leaders do.

It's a bit of a snooze, and the narrator is a bit fawning to my taste. She makes a bit too much of the talent in the family, because I'm sure if you look at any large family over several generations, you'll find creative people. Prince Charles comes across as warm, interested and quite self-deprecatory.

Contains some interesting aspects - there is an enormous amount of talent within the members of the royal family (past and present) - but Prince Charles's discourses are rather dry and distract from, rather than add to, the overall effect.

This documentary looks at artists among the Royal Family, going back before the time of Queen Victoria. Prince Charles speaks at length about the history of art in his family, the pleasure that comes from painting and sketching, and his own creative process. It's a different side to the prince who often seems maligned, and it's quite a human, warm, and engaging side.
