I read Dissonance a while back and really enjoyed it. I finished this book in a few sittings because it is a long book to read from beginning to end in one sitting.
The plot is well paced with a good mix of action, drama, and romance that you would expect. This plot speed sometimes fluctuates from time to time as more information is added.
The characters are decent. The main characters were okay in terms of description, but the supporting characters were fairly vague and didn't have much body to them other than being the antagonist. The personalities are fairly straightforward.
Overall, this is a pretty good read if you want something with action and such.
