A group of guys hanging out and going on daring adventures - there is certainly comedy there!

Based on the characters by Alexandre Dumas.

A great show about The Three Musketeers - based on the characters written by Alexandre Dumas. Fans of Skins (U.K.) will recognize Luke Pasqualino who plays D'Artagnan.

Good series. Athos looks like A young Stacy Keach.

Definitely not a strict adaptation of Dumas' classic, but a whole lot of stylish fun, with great sets and costumes, exciting action sequences, and lots of very pretty people to look at.

This is a fun show that keeps more to the spirit of the characters than the plot of the books.

The general feel of this series is bloody and violent. The stories follow none of the previous books or scripts. The characters who represent the musketeers only want to kill and justice is a very fine line. No-one under 17 should watch this. Disappointed in it being a BBC production.

Well this was a rather disappointing series, in which it is quite obvious that the writer's never read the original book. Why do I say that? Well for starters Dumas wrote a very clear and logical explanation of how D'Artangan meets Athos, Porthos, and Aramis. Now while I am willing to generally grant writers some freedom to change things, they went too far by having D'Artangan's father murdered by an imposter. This is not even an acceptable plot twist, this totally changes the story's premise, and essentially turns it into the equivalent of a soap opera.

Good stories, action, and acting ,.. and GREAT production values.

A fun fantasy excursion to an adventure filled semi-historic time period.

We love the series. Now, if you read Les Trois Mousquetaires, you'll notice the many liberties taken in this movie, that deviates quite a lot from the original story. But if you can bypass this, you will enjoy the series.

The series really picked up after the first couple of episodes.

Great fun, action, and adventure. And who doesn't love leather, corsets, and sword fights?

Unwatchable except for those with an extraordinarily high tolerance for anachronisms.
