But now they've stopped hiding, and nothing will be the same.On the run with a contract on her head, Rachel reluctantly teams up with Ivy, Inderland's best runner...and a living vampire. But this witch is way out of her league, and to clear her name, Rachel must evade shape-changing assassins, outwit a powerful businessman/crimelord, and survive a vicious underground fight-to-the-death...not to mention her own roommate!Fun, sassy, filled with action, humor, and romance, Dead Witch Walking is the perfect summer listen for anyone who likes vampires, paranormal fantasy, romance, or just a great beach book.

Harrison's debut Hollows novel and it opens with a bang!

Another in the paranormal/romance/vampire genre, however Harrison has taken the norm and turned it on its ear. Refreshingly new concepts and a storyline that kept me guessing all the way to the very end. Excellently flawed and lovable characters that draw the reader in with just enough romance mixed throughout to satisfy.

I really enjoyed listening to this story. It had lots of action and I will be continuing the series. For anyone who listens to the book instead of reading it a word of advice – its a little bit confusing for the first two chapters and I found the narrator hard to listen to at first. By the 3rd chapter I was very into the book, it was no longer confusing and I had grown used to the narrator (its just the voice she uses for Jinx's that really bothered me) but you get used to it, dont let these things turn you off the CD verison.

Rachel Morgan and her friends Ivy the vampire and Jinks the Pixie bodyguard. Both Rachel and Ivy used to be runners for the IRS and leave their jobs to start their own business. Rachel ends up with a price on her head because her boss thinks that she took Ivy; their best runner with her. The whole story of what Rachel goes through to bring in a major brimstone dealer who she thinks by tagging him will get the price off her head while trying to stay alive long enough to accomplish this is full of action, funny parts and edge of your seats parts.
