What a wonderful collection! The perfect way to read Agatha Christie in summer or any other season. Works for lunch hour reading.

Filled with interesting characters and twist-filled plots. You'll walk away loving Miss Marple.

Well worth the time!

This collection of short stories are wonderfully clever and surprisingly satisfying. And Miss Marple owes all of her crime solving skills to living simply and quietly in a village. So we all can live in hope. Her acumen is cleverly hidden by a fluff of white hair and knitting needles. This will become my disguise when I am a little old lady, if I can live up to such a shining example.

So many people seem to me not to be either bad or good, but simply, you know, very silly.

The art of writing gives one an insight into human nature. One sees perhaps motives that the ordinary person would pass by.

Wonderful collection of short stories. 20 in all. Many episodes stem from the Tuesday Night Club where Miss Marple and her associates try to identify how a crime is committed and who is responsible. Jane Marple of course, bests them all.
