Daisy is chronically late and easily side-tracked. It's Daisy's wild imagination that diverts her attention when it is time to go. For example, Daisy spends too much time placing her stuffed animals by the window so they can see her get on the bus, so she misses it! Daisy's mom gives her a mission to make to be ready for swimming lessons on time. Will she be able to make it?

I enjoyed this story because Daisy is a such an endearing character. I especially think that parents of young children will find the situations in the story very relatable!
