Flap to the chicken dance, twitch at the feeling of a bug crawling in your shirt and, of course, making scary faces with the silly ladybug in this animated story!

My preschoolers loved interacting with this book during storytime. Ladybug is bossy, but in a good way. Highly recommended read-aloud book for kids (and kids-at-heart) who like to move and have silly fun. Great paired with the song, "Shake Your Sillies Out."

Very cute! Jan Thomas writes another winner. If you liked this one, check out the Rhyming Dust Bunnies as well.

Our friendly ladybug narrator invites readers to play along in a rousing game of Let?s Pretend. That bug on readers? noses just won?t be wriggled away, so progressively silly and scary faces are the next plan of attack. The bold colors complement the ladybug?s equally assertive habit of speaking directly to the reader in this innovative book-meets-play hybrid.

A cute interactive story game asking kids to follow along acting out all kinds of silly instructions.

Jan Thomas is a genius when it comes to pre-school literature. She produces books with bright illustrations that appeal to children. The simply structured text is also easy for the age group to understand and memorize.

This book has the reader following a set of instructions given by the narrator, standing up, sitting down, wiggling the nose. It is when a frog menaces our bug narrator that we are asked to make a scary face.
