I love this book so much. The ending was quite surprising and I read Shades of Doon as soon as I possibly could. I'm waiting for Forever Doon to come out this September and it's driving me crazy!

Wow! This sequel to Doon was just as amazing if not better. I don't know how to describe the awesomeness of these two lovely ladies combined. The descriptions are so vivid. I can picture everything so clearly in my head, even in the places, I don't want to be able to vision the scene. I was so excited to be reading this, and then i got to the end. Like seriously, I have read good cliff-hangers. And don't get me wrong. This one was good to. But I am DYING inside waiting for Shades of Doon to come out this september. I think I will die before it comes out. Uggghhh. The agony is too much.

Kenna left Doon thinking it was the right decision, but she can't get the magical world and enchanting prince Duncan out of her head. Then unexpectedly, Prince Duncan shows up in Kenna's change room, with an order from Kenna's best friend, the Queen, to return to Doon. Kenna agrees, only for the sake of Veronica, and convinces herself not to fall for Duncan again.
Meanwhile back in Doon, evil has returned, threatening the kingdom.

Gently I touched his arm."Consider your promise fulfilled. You can go home now."
He raised his head to pierce me with his dark, anguished eyes. "I'm trying to -- if you'd stop fighting me with every breath."
"Don't be absurd. Chicago's not your home."
"No," he said. "You are."
