This is NOT the film COLOR ME OBSESSED, A FILM ABOUT THE REPLACEMENTS. That film is 2 hours long and tells the full story of the band through the eyes of their fans, followers, fellow musicians, roadies, sound men, and more. This film, which runs 49 minutes, is a collection of funny Replacements stories, most of which do not appear in the finished film.

Exceedingly dull and endless string of interviews with middle-aged mid-westerners.

The concept for this movie is, frankly, rather bizarre. No music from the band, no photos of the band, no live footage of The Replacements playing. All you get is a string of fans talking about the band. Some of them famous (like Grant Hart from Husker Du) others simple everyday people. This is NOT for casual fans, but for folks like me who put The Mats in as one of their favourite bands.
