The writing was interesting and the characters where nice. It seemed to be a little slow -but not bad- until it got to the climax and it felt so rushed. When you get to the climax of the story it happens so fast and I feel like the author could have taken a little more time out for the big scene and had a bit more of an epilogue. I feel like it leaves you a little wanting.

A little spoiler below...

The author also doesn't really explain why Alan and Ruddy are connected now (rather than years ago when Alan died/he had Ruddy's ring). There is no real explanation on why on the day did Alan finally connect to Ruddy.

Interesting characters in a small town in Michigan. Got involved with some sketchy events.
Will be looking for the next books to see how this continues develop.

I had forgotten about reading this book until I saw the follow up on our New Fiction Shelves last week. Thoroughly engaging read that left me wanting more. Happily, there is another title to this series now! If you enjoy a little absurdist comedy, this book will be well worth your time.

A cozy mystery that will leave you wanting more! Follow Ruddy as he tries to come to terms with the new voice in his head, the ghost of a dead Realtor. Even if you don't like "paranormal," you will find Cameron does a nice job of keeping the book realistic.

This was an easy read without having to think a lot. Hey, there are times when that's perfect. Funny, especially Kermit and the trash dumpster. You quickly learn Kermit will misinterpret whatever is said to him, or directions given - usually with a laughable outcome.

I really liked the characters and hope a sequel is in the works!
