I'm a big fan of Canadian television, and I love this series. Yes, the gimmick is he sees dead people, but the interactions between co-workers, doctors and patients, bosses and the bossed are what make the series great. In part, every character is searching to be "Normal," but no one knows how to accomplish that.

Fine series, with interesting patients and unusual medical conditions. I would have appreciated more story and less of the romantic entanglements angle. The newer "Code Black" is gritty, where this series features a cleaner and sanitized version of the emergency room. The show tries hard to depict operations pretty explicitly, but it's unfortunately not that successful or even necessary in my opinion.

One of the better Canadian TV series. Even if you don't believe in life after death, it is fun to think about what happens to people in comas or on the brink of death. What would they say if the could? Most of the story lines are basically about life in a hospital and managing to work long hours in constant crisis.
