I love this series. Great characters, laugh out loud funny. I think it's great that she can bounce between Ranger and Joe. Don't we all wish we could have such yummy guys in our lives? I hope this series go on for a long, long time!

I came across this series by accident. It was sitting at a bus stop and I've always been interested in something new and fresh. After One for the Money, I wanted to read more and have been following Stephanie for the longest of years now, and I do still read them, but it seems to be getting a bit dull...same antics happen. Don't get me wrong, I love Lula and I love Grandma but Stephanie is getting...old. Marry Joe, have some kids, but keep Diesel around...I like his series.

I still enjoy the books about Stephanie Plum. I have stopped reading any others JE writes, I may try the Diesel Wicked series someday. I always love Ranger and Stephanie's scenes. I like Morelli too. Grandma is great, and the family dinners at Stephanie's parents house are funny. Her cars may not last, but Lula's always got the red sports car to drive Stephanie to the always awaiting chaos of her life.

Boring, formulaic, same old same old. And, call me old-fashioned but I really object to her sleeping with both Ranger & Morelli in the same book :( I stopped buying Evanavitch's books long ago, now this is the last one I read from the library ...
Can I give it 'no stars'?

I have to leave Stephanie now before she becomes a nightmare. I've loved her up until now but Janet Evanovich isn't putting any effort into moving her or her lovely men on. It almost feels as if Ms Evanovich is going through the motions for money only & isn't prepared to take everyone out of limbo. It's "Groundhog Day" all over again...& again.....& again. Come on Janet man up & move us all on!!!!!

Excellent book for entertainment and travel! Grandma Mazur is always full of surprises and makes me laugh hard.

I was at the pool reading my book and started laughing at Lulu's antics. Another mom walked by and said, "Stephanie Plum, right?" Need I say more.

Sigh! TURBO TWENTY-THREE offers nothing new or fresh in this long-standing series. When our feisty heroine, Stephanie Plum, burst on the literary scene 20+ years ago, creator and author Janet Evanovich challenged fans of the traditional male-dominated bounty hunter/detective genre by offering snappy dialogue, memorable albeit wacky characters, and original mysteries that were fun to read as well as to solve. By my calculations, Stephanie has got to be pushing middle-age by now, but she and her cohorts seem to be perpetually locked into a pathetic, adolescent formulaic loop. Time to pull the plug on this series and put Stephanie et al., not to mention readers, out of their collective misery.

Not great literature, but a fun read.

Excellent, as always!!!! Not as much tension than some of her past books, so may fit more in the cozy genre, but very, very, very funny!!!!

I pushed through the loading dock doors and looked around, happy to be outside. It was a cloudless blue-sky day. Perfect for September. Warm in the sun and chilly in the shade. Hardly any stench from the chemical plant in the neighboring industrial park and only a slight haze of air pollution.

I had a big Maglite, and Lula had her purse.
"What are we looking for?" Lula asked.
"I don't know exactly. Evidence of chocolate syrup and chopped nuts. A huge freezer. Bloodstains."
"The usual stuff," Lula said.
