When the Titans first attacked, life for mankind was forever changed. Fearing the massive man-eating humanoids, survivors constructed three enormous walls for protection. From that point on, humanity lived safely behind the walls--for the time being. A century later, life is peaceful. Eren and his friends live inside the walls, yearning to explore beyond the borders they've always known. But the opportunity comes sooner than expected when a Colossal Titan appears above the wall.

Attack On Titan is a Japanese Anime based on the Manga/comic book Written by Hajime. The story follows a young boy Named Eren living with his 2 friends Mikasa and Armin in a small town surrounded by 3 walls. One day strange humanoid giants appear behind the walls called Titans. The Titans destroy the town and eat Eren's mother. From that day Eren vowed to kill all the titans, revenge his mother, and protect his friends. The storyline is very well developed and interesting. The characters develop very well throughout the series in my opinion. The animation looks very beautiful and solid. However this anime is very bloody, dark and creepy and kind of mysterious as well, which is my favourite type of show. It has a lot of death scenes and dark moments where humans get eaten alive. This anime is definitely for adults, not for kids. Overall I really enjoyed watching this Anime and I think it's very entertaining and extremely exciting to watch. However this DVD doesn't have all the episodes, it's only 13 episodes while the whole show is 25. Which means the anime doesn't end here. Although I still recommend watching this anime and getting the DVD. But you have to get part II in order to finish the whole show. Attack on Titan is definitely one of my favourite animes of all time. Rating 9/10.

Kinda cool....If you know Asian cinema then you will enjoy this Manga come to life beginning ( as it is part one ) of a kind of " Land of the Giants" for the new age.
Give it a try if you enjoyed Divergent and such.
