We watched the first episode, and found it badly written, and badly acted. Yes, the costumes, settings, music, and plot to be interesting. But the whole thing seemed to be formulaic, with the actors not putting their hearts into it. We gave the second episode a try, and our bad impressions were confirmed. Still, curious to see how it all ended, we watched the 7th and final episode, plus all the bonus features. The whole thing could have been boiled down to two, at most three episodes. The younger brother, suffering from PTSD, was a total waste of time, and did absolutely nothing to further the plot, which was basically very, very, very simple: the victorious Allies, while depicting all Nazis as evil incarnate, were perfectly happy in abducting their evil scientists, and turning a blind eye to their war crimes. The classical joke is the American bragging to the Russian: "Our German scientists are better than your German scientists."

I lasted exactly 15 minutes. Couldn't bear to sit and watch the wooden performances of the characters .Please do not waste your time.

A disappointing production, with so many improbable situations. Who can design and build a jet engine in a matter of weeks! The main character was a bit wooden and his romance with his best friend's wife lacked chemistry. It was 2 discs too long.

This seven hour British mini-series follows the lives of several Nazis and Nazi hunters after the war in 1946. All of them are temporarily staying in a bombed out hotel in Northwestern London. It's very slow and takes a long time to get anywhere, more of a soap opera really. It does show the dilemma many of the British intelligence faced after the war when they were kidnapping Nazi scientists and engineers and bringing them to London to be useful. How many people does a Nazi have to torture and kill before their skills in building weapons aren't so useful?
