This is an easily read opening into recent scientific discoveries about aging. Not pop culture, but real science. One of the authors received a Nobel Prize in 2009 along with two others on her team for the discovery of telomerase the enzyme that can protect our telomeresand the role of telomeres in aging. The shortening of our telomeres can be slowed, halted and occasionally reversed. This is an exciting book for anyone wishing to gain greater insight into the ways lifestyle can slow down aging.
