For as long as Molly Southbourne can remember, she's been watching herself die. Whenever she bleeds, another molly is born, identical to her in every way and intent on her destruction. Molly knows every way to kill herself, but she also knows that as long as she survives she'll be hunted. No matter how well she follows the rules, eventually the mollys will find her. Can Molly find a way to stop the tide of blood, or will she meet her end at the hand of a girl who looks just like her?

This book *freaked* me out. But it was super interesting, too. Not for the faint of heart, but if you like horror you should check it out.

A quick, quirky, original story. Not for those who faint at the sign of blood.

I am a bit perplexed by this book. I borrowed it because the plot summary sounded original. The story is about Molly, a girl born with a strange feature: every time she bleeds, some replicas of her are born and try to kill her. The book is full of gruesome details about how Molly disposes of these creatures - and also about how Molly herself bleeds. Not a book for the faint of heart. It might make your afraid of waking up and finding your clone looking at you with evil intent. However, the transition to the last chapter, where Molly becomes an orphan and moves to the big city, is not too smooth and seemed to me to be a bit strained. I didn't particularly like the ending either; it's not in character with Molly, who is a real fighter. So, I gave this book the rating of average. It's a sort of sci-fi novel with lots of blood in it.

It was an interesting idea for a short, fast-paced novella, but I'm not sure if I liked it at all, or just liked the fact that I could finish it in only a few hours. The writing was good, but the conclusion did not explain enough for me.

I rather enjoyed this novella about the Mollys. I am not sure if I would classify it as horror or science fiction but it was a quick, fun read and I recommend it.

I don't know how to describe the feelings I had when I read this book. Did I enjoy it? I wouldn't call it enjoyment but I was gripped by the story. I couldn't put it down. I wanted to know more. I wasn't satisfied with the ending but... it made sense.

It definitely will be in my mind for a while.

"The rules are simple. If you see a girl who looks like you, run and fight. Don't bleed. If you bleed, blot, burn, and bleach. If you find a hole, find your parents. Molly recites the lines to herself many times."
